Zen Snead

Memorial services will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 15 at Brooks Chapel with Pastor Dusty Sims, officiating. Zen Nicodemus Snead was born October 21, 2002 in Amarillo to Rebecca Dyer and Malcolm Snead. Zen attended Belmar Elementary and he loved school. He was a strong little boy that brought happiness to everyone he met. Zen was taken too soon. He absolutely adored his siblings and brought tremendous blessings to all during his short time here. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Minnie Snead, and great grandparents, Mary Thompson, Lee Otis Thompson, and Nolan Buchanan. Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Dyer and husband, Michael; two brothers, Dagon and Rylan Moore; a sister, Wren Dyer; father, Malcolm Snead and wife, Randi; grandparents, Peggy and Robert Forsythe, Christopher Thompson, and Anthony Snead; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Council of the Blind, 403 S. Western St., Amarillo, TX 79106 or to Cook Children's Health Foundation, 801 7th Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104.
