Zachary Allen Burton was born on May 1, 2005 and lost his battle with epilepsy on April 5, 2025. Zach loved rock climbing, fishing, collecting & shooting firearms, paleontology, history and especially volunteering at Wild West wildlife rehabilitation. He had a particular fondness for the raptors. The Amarillo Epilepsy Walk is at Thompson Park on the morning of April 26, 2025. Zach's family will be walking and invite anyone that would like to come to join them. There will be a short prayer service at 3:00 P.M. A memorial account has been created, and donations are greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers. These funds will go to the Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center where Zach found so much joy. He is preceded in death by grandparents, David and Shirley Burton of Bartonville, IL. Survivors include his parents, Dennis & Kelly Burton; sister, Kate Moroney and husband, Jacob and nephew Wyatt all of Hart TX; twin sister, Breanna Burton of Canyon; grandparents, Allen and Ruth Ann Hammer of Lafayette IN; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins in Arizona, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Minnesota.
