Woodrow Hooks

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Dreamland Cemetery with Rev. Glen Stocker, pastor of Bible Believers Baptist Church, officiating. Woodrow Hooks was born on March 4, 1913 in Rockdale, Texas to Livingston and Lillie Dodson Hooks. He married Irene Easter at Hollis, Oklahoma on September 11, 1937. She preceded him in death in 2002. He was a retired iron worker from Local 408. He was also preceded in death by one son, William Hooks, in 1943, five brothers, and four sisters. Survivors include a son, Harold Hooks and wife, Earline, of Canyon; a daughter, Kathie Polhemus and husband, Ron, of Hanna City, Illinois; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
