Winston Terry Bagley, 86, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo with David Bagwell, executive pastor of Living Water Christian Fellowship, officiating.
Terry was born on July 11, 1937 in Eastland, Texas to Winfield and Ann Lorreene (Medley) Bagley. He was a 1955 graduate of Canyon High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He lived in San Diego where his daughter, Kimberly was born, in Minnesota for 10 years where his son, Jim was born, and he spent the last 35 years in Amarillo.
While in the Navy, Terry gained extensive knowledge as a mechanic, and upon discharge, he spent his working career as an exceptionally skilled mechanic. He loved fishing and enjoyed camping and spending time at the family cabin in Colorado. He loved watching sports and watching his son play football at the same school he attended. All holidays and vacations through the years were spent together with his family and they will cherish those memories.
Terry is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Nancy Madison Bagley, an infant son, Winston Scott, in 1962, two brothers, Bob and Wayne Bagley, and a sister, Barbara Shaffer.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Hinn (Bob) and their children, Christina Lyons (Jeff), and Robert Hinn (Brittany); his son, Jim Bagley (Sandy) and their children, Christopher Franks (Alysia), Jennifer Nichols (Eric), Brittany Huey (Tony), Will Bagley (Lexi), and Madison Bagley; 8 great grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Crooks, Martha Mandel, and Arlene Downing; and two brothers, Pat Bagley and Walton Bagley.
