Wilma Kratochvil

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, Celebrant Msgr. Harold Waldow. Vigil will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Brooks Chapel, 1702 5th Ave, Canyon, TX. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas. Wilma was born to John and Mary Zvara in Claridge, Pennsylvania. She married Joseph Kratochvil in April of 1958. She had a love for cooking, but especially a deep love for her kids, grandkids and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, John Kratochvil, and her husband. Survivors include her sons, Robert Brendan, Timothy and wife, Twyla, Joseph and wife, Shannon, and Patrick and wife, Virginia; daughters, Christine Beavers and husband, Keith, and Kathleen Grooms; daughter-in-law, Diane Kratochvil; brother-in-law, John Kratochvil and wife, Norma; sisters-in-law, Alice and Bertie Kratochvil; uncle, Mike Zvara; 26 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
