Willora Pryor

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Happy"s Memorial Chapel with Rick Bloodworth, minister of Church of Christ in Happy, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery. Mrs. Pryor will be available for viewing at Happy"s Memorial Chapel. Willora Dale Pryor was born on August 3, 1940 in Tulia, Texas to Samuel and Bonnie Franklin Sluder. She married Jerry Lee Pryor on September 6, 1958. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Sluder and Lilburn Sluder, and three sisters, Evelyn Burns, Margaret Spencer, and Thelma Hagain. Her grandchildren were her life. Survivors include two daughters, Nita Simpson and husband, John Earl, III, of Tulia, and Dalene Sims and husband, Mike, of Happy; five grandsons, Ryan Sims, Adam Sims, Brad Sims, Cass Weavers, and Randy Weavers; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbur Sluder, of Pampa, and Wendell Sluder, of Amarillo; and two sisters, Phyllis Mathis, of Happy, and Wilma Walker, of Edgewood, NM. The family suggests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 50433, Amarillo, TX 79159, or to the American Heart Association, 6605 IH 40 West, Amarillo, TX 79106.
