Wilhelmine (Wilma) Briscoe

Wilhelmine (Wilma) Briscoe, 95, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2022.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Happy's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of Crossroads Country Church in Amarillo, officiating.
Wilma was born December 30, 1926 in Rohrbach, Austria. She was one of six children of Anton and Teresia Wiesinger. She married Frank H. Briscoe in Salzburg, Austria.
Wilma was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an accomplished seamstress. For many years she enjoyed the fellowship with her friends every Monday morning at the First Baptist Church of Happy, drinking coffee and sharing stories. This fellowship will continue in Heaven.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Briscoe; her parents; one brother, Toni Wiesinger; two sisters, Frieda Kitzmuller and Mitzi Fruhwirt.
Wilma was survived by three children, Linda Gardner and husband Gail, Bonnie Gwin and husband Jim, and Freddy Briscoe; brother, Rupert Wiesinger; sister, Berti Czepan; six grandsons; multiple great-grandchildren; and many special USA and European family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Happy Cemetery Association, PO Box 248, Happy, TX 79042 or to a charity of your choice.
