Virginia Cox, 58, of Happy, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2002 at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona following a lengthy illness. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at Happy Cemetery, Happy, Texas, with Rick Bloodworth, pastor of Happy Church of Christ, officiating. She was born to Houston and Lora Shannon Roberts on October 13, 1943 at McAdoo, Texas. She was a graduate of Hereford High School in 1962 and married James Sherman Cox, Jr. on December 9, 1965, at Hereford. She was a member of the Hereford Church of Christ. Mary Tinkle, and husband, Kenneth, of Canon City, CO. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
