Services were held Monday, June 11, 2012 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Gene Jones officiating. Burial was in Westland Cemetery, Fritch, Texas. Born on June 5, 1923 in El Reno, Oklahoma to George and Jesse Gable. Mrs. McDonald married Charles McDonald on July 2, 1938 in Borger, Texas. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles David McDonald, her parents, George and Jesse Gable, a daughter, Gaydell Adamie, two granddaughters, Chardonna Wesson and Vanessa Videll, one brother and three sisters. She was survived by two daughters, Charlene Sherwood and husband, A.G., of Canyon, Texas and Linda Mahan and husband, Bruce, of Katy, Texas; a granddaughter, Shelly Cantrell of Canyon, Texas; five grandsons, David Sherwood of Nashotah, Wisconsin, Darin Sherwood of Amarillo, Texas, Dr. Paul David Wesson of Ohio, Cameron Wesson, and Nathan Gillilan, of Borger, Texas.
