Memorial services to be held at a later date. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery, Canyon, Texas. He was preceded in death by a brother, Zachariah Zapata; an aunt, Nicole Brummett; and a cousin, Carlos Hernandez. Survivors include his parents, Juan Zapata and Bernady Lucero; sisters, Serenidy Garcia and Heavenly Zapata; brothers, Israel Lucero and Jeremiah Zapata; grandparents, Maria Brummett and husband, Robert, Daniel Zapata, Deborah Lucero; great grandparents, Minnie and Duane Hughes; aunts, Olivia Lucero and Minnie Sanchez; and Uncle, Isaiah Cantu.
