Victor Hill

Vic Hill was born on May 21, 1914 in Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. D.S. Hill. His family later moved to Canyon, where Mr. Hill was raised and attended school. After graduating from Canyon High School, he then moved to California where he worked for Howard Hughes Aircraft Co. for many years. He then returned to Canyon where he successfully farmed and ranched for his remaining years, and married Addie Lambert in 1989. Vic was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canyon. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sally in 1984 and four brothers; Sam Hill, Elon Hill, Fairy Hill, and Ishmael Hill. Survivors include his wife, Addie Hill, of the home; one brother, Forest Hill, of Amarillo; 3 step-children, Lenora Holdeman, of Perryton, Lynda Dresch, of Jacksonville, FL, and Carrol Blackwell, of Lubbock; 7 step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
