Vickie Nicole Keel

Vickie Nicole Keel, 29, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Amarillo Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.

Vickie was born April 30, 1993 in Denton, Texas to Stephen and Susan (Dunlap) Keel. She graduated from River Road High School in 2011 and then received an Associate of Arts teaching degree from Amarillo College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in Education from West Texas A&M University. She was a kindergarten teacher for four years in Bovina and was currently a first-grade teacher in Hereford.

Vickie was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi sorority and a member of the Amarillo Church of Christ. She loved to do crafts and loved children.

Vickie was preceded in death by her brother, Jacob Nathaniel Keel and her grandparents, Fred and Vivian Dunlap.

Survivors include her parents, Stephen and Susan Keel; two siblings, Ashlie (Anthony) Keel and Serena Keel; nephew, Tristan Keel; grandparents, Vade and Julia Keel; her fiancé, Tyler Jameson and his daughter, Edith; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
