Vickie Darnell

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with Pastor David Gadberry, Summit Church, officiating. Vickie Dawn Darnell was born on January 13, 1960 in Lubbock, Texas to Dale and Carolyn Mathis Christie. She lived in Amarillo for 22 years and was a retired RN. She loved God and her family. She will be fondly remembered for her cooking, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Survivors include her children, Brittiny Rowland, Joshua Darnell, and Jordan Darnell; grandchildren, Makayla, Aspen, Kyler, and Heaven Rowland; parents, Carolyn Christie and Dale Christie; brothers, Corey Christie, Robbie Christie; sister, Becky McDonald; 10 nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Billie Darnell; and David Darnell.
