Services celebrating her life will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Canyon with Debra Huffman, pastor, officiating. Services in Stinnett will follow at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday at First Christian Church of Stinnett. Burial will follow in Stinnett Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be at Stinnett Cemetery, Stinnett, Texas. Vicki Martin O'Gorman was born on September 17, 1951 to Donald H. and Lenora Martin. She steadfastly refused to discuss the place of her birth, but arrived in Stinnett as a naturalized Texan in 1952, remaining there for fifty years. Her greatest joys in life were her relationships with her children, grandchildren, and her church families of First Christian Church of Stinnett and First Christian and First Presbyterian Churches of Canyon. She served her Lord with grace, discretion, kindness, and humor. She is survived by her husband, James; her sons, Jason and wife, Amber, of Pampa, Travis and wife, Stormy, of Clifton, TX, and Bryan, of Amarillo; her precious grandchildren, Shelbie, Caleb, Ethan and Brenna; a daughter-like niece, Tracie Sandstrom, of Amarillo; her special grand-niece, Mackenzie Sandstrom and grand-nephew, Kevin Sandstrom, both also of Amarillo; her loving brother, Dennis, of Graham, Washington; and the best cousin anyone ever had, Claudine McCoy, of Guntersville, Alabama.
