Verlene Mcnally

Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Bible Believer"s Baptist Church with Pastor Glen Stocker, officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery. Donna Verlene McNally was unexpectedly called home to be with her Lord on January 8, 2006. She was born to Virgil and Mary Shugart in Canon City, Colorado, on February 14, 1936. On July 4, 1958, she married Peter McNally in Reno, Nevada. She spent more then 20 years as a Navy wife, officially retiring in 1972, when her husband retired from the service. She was a graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Verlene was preceded in death by a baby brother who died at birth, her father, Virgil Shugart, and her nephew David Hines. Survivors include; husband, Pete McNally of the home; daughter, Kathy Rockel of Greensboro, NC; son, Michael McNally of Pueblo, CO; sister, Mary Hines of Colorado Springs, CO; mother, Mary Shugart of Canyon; five grandchildren, Lynette (Daniel) Calkins of Pueblo, CO, Leah (Brandon) Shafer of Pueblo, CO, David McNally of Norfolk, VA, Sean McNally of Pueblo, CO, and James McNally of Pueblo, CO; 5 great grandchildren; many friends and "adopted" family at Bible Believer"s Baptists Church in Canyon.
