Vassie Fincher

Vassie Stanley Fincher, 92, of Canyon died Saturday, April 6, 2002. Services will be 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. David Lowrie, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Canyon officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 P.M Survivors incude one daughter, Glenna and her husband Larry Faus, of Sparta, Wisconsin; one son, Irwin and his wife Janet Fincher, of Canyon, Texas; two sisters, Gertrude Allison, of Lubbock, Texas and Frances Downing, of Norwalk, Ohio; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family suggest memorials be to the Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, Texas 79101
