Tracy Stipe Criss
November 1, 1961 — May 28, 2022
Tracy Stipe Criss, 60, of Canyon, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Our sweet Momma is in the arms of Jesus now. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will follow in Dreamland Cemetery.
Tracy was born on November 1, 1961 in Shamrock to James Lewis and Mary Sue Stipe. She was a lifelong resident of Canyon and grew up attending Calvary Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved babies, birds, and being outside spending time with her grandkids. She especially enjoyed feeding stray cats, which at one time, was quite a few. Tracy loved her family tremendously.
Tracy is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cynthia. Survivors include her four children, April and husband, Ruben of Amarillo, Susan of Amarillo, Jeremy and wife, Lindsey of Canyon and Steven and wife, Heather of Canyon; eleven grandchildren, Timothy, Gage, Mason, Emma, Madisyn, Maci, Myles, Aiden, Rylie, Victoria and Elizabeth; and two sisters, Sally DeHay and husband, Bill of Canyon and Linda Sanders of Canyon.
The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, Texas 79109.
