Tony Crapanzano

Tony Crapanzano, 70, of Canyon, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born on July 3, 1953 in Dallas to Sam Anthony and May Pearl (Kinson) Crapanzano.

He graduated from Sterling Massage Academy in Dallas and was a retired registered massage therapist and instructor. He moved to Canyon in 2014 and married Sherry Lynn Jones on September 25, 2020 in Canyon.
Tony was kind to everyone he met, and he never met a stranger. He loved his family, and it gave him great joy to spend time with them, especially his children and grandchildren. Tony was a spiritual man who took comfort in the Word of God. He was also a philosopher and reflective thinker. He was a loving husband, best friend, and confidant to Sherry.

He loved playing his guitar and fishing was his favorite pastime. He also loved to fix things thought broken. Tony took pride in his ability to get things working again and loved restoring things to their original state. He enjoyed woodworking and building things and was an avid photographer. Tony had an infectious laugh and an incredible sense of humor.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rosa Lee Strawn.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Crapanzano; two sons, Nicholas Crapanzano and Alisa Hardy, and Michael Crapanzano and Mary DeMartini; daughter, Rachel Love; stepdaughters, Elizabeth McCandless and husband, Les, and Amiee Hart and husband, Greg; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Martin, Donna Homire, and Cindy Hicks; brother, Mark Crapanzano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
