Tony Brumley

Tony Brumley, 57, of Canyon, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Christ Family Fellowship with Travis Evers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Tony was born on March 9, 1966 in Canyon, son of Dale and Darlene (Ford) Brumley, and was a 1985 graduate of Canyon High School. He married Cindy Townsend at Canyon Hills Church of Christ on January 8, 1993. Tony was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Tony never knew a stranger, always looking to make a new friend and eager to make them smile. Tony loved tending to plants, a hobby he enjoyed sharing with his daughter, Sondra. He was a loving father, "adopting" anyone in need of a little kindness and love. His family, dogs, and church were his life, and he dedicated himself to serving those around him with an open heart.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jacob Allen Brumley. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Cindy Brumley; his son, Kalob Brumley and wife, Tristan; his daughter, Sondra Sertuche and husband, Ben; four siblings, Tamara Hegwood, Terri Barnwell, Troy Brumley, and Trudy Hartson; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Christ Family Fellowship, 700 4th Avenue, Canyon, TX 79015, to be distributed to Operation Christmas Child and Fill With Hope, both very dear to Tony's heart.
