Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Happy with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of United Methodist Church of Happy, and Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of South Georgia Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Viewing will be at Happy"s Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery, Happy, Texas. Tom Henry was born on December 23, 1933 in Sudan to Cecil and Mary Littlefield Henry. He was a longtime resident of Happy where he ranched, farmed and enjoyed rodeoing. He will be remembered for his saying, "Don"t be afraid of a hard day"s work." Tom was preceded in death by a daughter, Angelique Henry, in 2011. Survivors include Mary Neal Henry, of Amarillo; a daughter, Sheri Neal Rawson, of Tulia; two sons, Ken Henry, of Henderson, Nevada and J.T. Henry, of Happy; a brother, Bob Henry, of Canyon; eight grandchildren, Josh Henry, Payden, Gage, and Cierra Jade Henry, Daniel Rawson, Tabatha Wilkerson, and Jayton and Levi Walden; and four great grandchildren, D.J., David, and Matt Rawson, and Colt Wilkerson. The family suggests memorials be to the Happy Rodeo Association, PO Box 121, Happy, TX 79042 or a favorite charity.
