Theresa Deneen Paul

Theresa Deneen Paul, 59, of Lamesa, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 2, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Canyon with Steve Friskup officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.

Theresa was born on September 26, 1964 in Canyon to Glenn and Waltine Tucek. She was a 1983 graduate of Canyon High School and married Ray Allan Paul on June 1, 1984. She worked for Helena Agri Lamesa since 2006. Theresa was known for her smile. She spent many hours keeping books and announcing team ropings and was lovingly known as 'Momma T' by her countless team roping family. Her equally treasured name was 'Nana', and she was always willing to help anyone in need.

Theresa was preceded in death by her niece, Cassie Ann Roark and her grandparents, Raymond and Irene Tucek and Walt and Aline Beavers.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Allan Paul; her children, Tysha Jeneen Miller and husband, Russell, Tyrell Justin Paul, and Tray Ryan Paul and fiancé, Lacey Norris; four grandchildren, Teagan, Tayte and Tinslee Miller, and Lakyn Paul; her parents, Glenn and Waltine Tucek; siblings, Tammy and Royce Roark, Terrell and Chrisi Tucek, and Twyla and Frank Sisneros; and niece and nephews, Darci Roark, Devyn and Dustyn Sisneros, and Koyt Tucek.
