Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon, TX, with Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of United Methodist Church of McLean, officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel in Canyon, Texas. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery, Canyon, Texas. Terry Joe Campbell was born on August 25, 1982 in Abilene, Texas to Mike and Misty Morgan Campbell. He was raised in Abilene and moved to Amarillo in 1998. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 2001 and joined the U.S. Navy in 2003 where he served as Petty Officer 3rd Class on the USS Theodore Roosevelt. Terry married Sarah Holland of Clarendon, Texas on November 19, 2007. He loved playing basketball, snow and water skiing, working on his camaro, and racing at Amarillo Dragway with his brother, Adam. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews or watching movies with his new bride. He was proud to be an American and proud to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Campbell, of Norfolk, VA; his parents, Mike and Misty Campbell, of Amarillo; a brother, Adam Campbell, wife, Krystal and son, Zachary, of Amarillo; grandparents, Joe and Margaret Campbell, of Abilene, TX, and Loyd and Kay Morgan, of Amarillo; great grandmother, Ruth Braxton, of Amarillo; three uncles, Dr. Steve Morgan and family, of Allen, TX, Brent Morgan and family, of Amarillo, and Rick Campbell and family, of Merkel, TX; an aunt, Becky Blessen and family, of Bartlesville, OK; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
