Teri Keeling

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Dreamland Cemetery, with Dr. Lewis Holland, officiating. Teri was born to James Frank and Marian Ray Heare on October 31, 1952. She grew up in Pampa, Texas. While she was attending college in Canyon, Texas at West Texas A&M University she met Jimmy Keeling. They were married on October 19, 1974. They had two children. A daughter, Annalee Keeling-Moore and a son, Alton Joel Keeling. Teri went back to college and received her bachelors" degree in Social Work from West Texas A&M University in 1998. She worked for Adult Protective Services in Amarillo, Texas for ten years. Teri was a true bleeding heart and loved being a social worker and helping people in need. She was a wonderful person to be around, full of energy and loved having a good time. She always knew what needed to be done. Teri will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Ernest Oscar Stroup and sister-in-law, Karen Heare. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Keeling; daughter, Annalee Moore and husband, Eran; son, A.J. Keeling and wife, Kim and two grandchildren, Ally and Andrew; brother, Steve Heare with two sons, Adam and Daniel; mother, Marian Stroup; and father, Frank Heare and wife, Evelyn.
