Suzanne Barrett

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Donna Johnston, associate pastor, and Dr. David Lowrie, Jr., pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Suzanne Stephenson Barrett was born on August 3, 1931 in Arizona to Earl and Florence Taylor Stephenson. She moved to Canyon in 1938 and married John Richard "Dick" Barrett on September 24, 1950. She retired from WTAMU after 26 years as Coordinator of Computer Operations. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, Bible Study Class, Crusaders Sunday School Class, and First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, John Richard "Dick" Barrett, of Canyon; three sons, John E. Barrett, and wife, Loretta, of Moore, OK, Corky Barrett, and wife, Deborah, of Canyon, and Rodney Barrett, and wife, Debbie, of Noble, OK; her daughter, Bonnie Barrett, of Canyon; twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
