Sue Tidmore

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Barry Loving, First Christian Church of Amarillo, officiating. Sue Tidmore was born on October 19, 1919 in Vernon, Texas to Jefferson Randolph and Phoebe Crow. She married William A. Tidmore, Sr. in Mangum, OK on April 2, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the First Christian Church in Quanah for 75 years. Sue was very dedicated to various civic activities in Quanah. Survivors include her two sons, William A. Tidmore, Jr. and Jeff R. Tidmore and wife, Lanita; granddaughter, Lisa Henthorn and husband, Marck; grandson, Jeffrey Tidmore and wife, Kristie; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Gracie, Tyler, and Zachary; nephew, James E. Jones; and niece, Garla Newman. The family suggest memorials to the First Christian Church of Quanah, 800 Mercer, Quanah, TX 79252.
