Stanley Gillham, 92, of Claude, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Claude. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Wayside Community Church with Pastor Stephen Gillham officiating. Viewing will be on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 8:30 to 5:00 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Stanley was born on November 23, 1924 in Happy, Texas to Memory and Bonnie Adams Gillham. He married Beulah Brakeman on September 17, 2003 in Claude. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and farmed in the Wayside area for many years. Stanley was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. He loved to sing and dearly loved his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Geneva Gillham, and nine siblings. Stanley is survived by his wife, Beulah Gillham, of Claude; six children, Stephen Gillham and wife, Carol of Colorado, Richard Gillham and wife, Juanita of Washington, David Gillham and wife, Rosa of California, Herbert Gillham, Keshon Gillham and Keaundra Gillham, both of Claude; four stepchildren, Keniah, Keron, Kenan, and Kiana Staine, all of Claude; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Chaney Gillham of Wisconsin; three sisters, Laura Edwards of Wayside, Olla Gillham of Wayside, and Ester Mesnard and husband, Charles of Tulia; and many nieces and nephews.
