Shirley Buchanan

Shirley Ann Buchanan, of Canyon, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the age of 73. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 15 at Brooks Chapel with Shane Nease and Bubba Collins, officiating. Preceding her in death were her mother, Irene Burton, four sisters, Ruth Ammons, Billie Murray, Sallie Cuthbert, and Martha Martinez. A special thanks to her many friends that lived at Canyon Housing that looked out for Mom and each other. She is survived by her children, Becky Winchester and husband, Floyd, of Amarillo, Mike Grant, of South Carolina, and Jeff Grant and wife, Debbie, of Canyon; niece, Terri Collins and husband, Bubba; nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to a favorite charity.
