Sheryl Olson

Sheryl Olson, 64, of Canyon passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon with Skip Chisum, Pastor of The Rock Church in Amarillo, officiating. Sheryl was born on August 29, 1954 in Shattuck, OK to Orville and Donna Howard. She graduated from Canyon High School. Sheryl was a loving and devoted mother. She enjoyed crocheting and she never met a stranger. She was proud to be "The Band Mom" and was always supportive in her sons' endeavors. She took pride in helping out on the family farm and enjoyed country life. Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Les Howard. Survivors include two sons, Brodie Olson and wife, Mary Katherine Saied-Olson and Aaron Olson; and brothers Wade Howard and wife, Susan, and Ken Howard and wife, Cheryl.
