Sheri Anne Cathey

Sheri Anne Cathey, 40, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at First Family Church in Amarillo with Rev. Billy D. Nickell officiating. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.

Sheri was born on January 14, 1981 in Amarillo to Daniel and Sandra (Mauldin) Kendrick. She was a 1999 graduate of Tascosa High School and attended Amarillo College. Sheri married Kris Cathey in Amarillo on February 1, 2012.

Sheri was a wonderful homemaker and had a tremendous love for her children and family. She enjoyed music and cherished the memories of trout fishing with her grandmother. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband in the Leathernecks Confederation Motorcycle Club.

Sheri was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Kendrick and maternal grandparents, Forrest and Minnie Mauldin. Survivors include her husband, Kris of Amarillo; three children, Cieli, Alysanne, and Coleden; her parents, Daniel and Sandra Kendrick of Amarillo; twin sister, Keri Moore and husband, Kenneth of Stockbridge, GA and sister, Adrianne McAlister and husband, Nick of Amarillo; niece and nephew, Tyler and Declan McAlister; grandmothers, Helen Kendrick of Amarillo and Ada McCutchen of Hereford; her mother-in-law, Diane Cathey of Amarillo; and two sisters-in-law, Karin Huddleston and husband, James and Brandi Cathey, all of Amarillo.
