Samantha Jo Loftus, 42, of Canyon, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Samantha was born on August 28, 1981 in Hastings, Nebraska. She attended the Iowa School for the Deaf and then studied graphic and media arts at Hastings Community College. Samantha was very creative and enjoyed drawing, coloring, and diamond art. Sami had a giant heart and would help anybody in need. Sami's joy in life was her son Chaleb, he was her whole world.
Samantha was preceded in death by her brother, Zachary Dunbar, Grandma Betty, Grandpa Judd, Grandma Irene, Papa, Aunt Gloria, Aunt Dee, Uncle Mark, and Uncle Dale.
Survivors include her loving son, Chaleb; parents, Ron and JoAnn Dunbar; her nanny, Pat Wich; three sisters, Melissa Anderson and husband, Mark, Haley Plogger and husband, Josh, and Riley Steffen and husband, Taylor; father, Bob Loftus and wife Lorrie; stepsister, Brandy; stepbrother, Derek; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be at the Elks Country Club in Hastings, Nebraska on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 1-4 pm.
