Ruth Finke

The services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 25, 2005 at the University Church of Christ with Bob Shepard, officiating. The burial will be held at Memory Gardens. Ruth Finke was born on March 8, 1926 in Albia, Iowa to Warren and Bertha Heller Fisher. She went to Ottumwa Highschool in Iowa and later attended Draughns Business School. She married Fred L. Finke in 1947 at College Station. Her and her husband Fred has lived in Canyon and Amarillo for the past 45 years. She was a member of University Church of Christ. Ruth will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Forest and Don Fisher. Survivors are, husband, Fred Finke, of the home; two sons, David L. Finke and wife, Regina, of Canyon, and Daren L. Finke of Dallas; two brothers, Bill Fisher of Monroe, Iowa, and Max Fisher of Blakesburg, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
