Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with David Lough, minister, University Church of Christ, officiating. Rudolph Edward Wruble, Jr. was born on November 1, 1937 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Rudolph and Millie Haba Wruble, Sr. He graduated from North Side High School in Ft. Worth in 1956. He married Evon Davis on January 2, 1997 in Eureka Springs, AR. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and was a railroad engineer. Rudy loved animals, restoring old cars, and running trains over his tracks and through his little towns built on a table. He enjoyed visiting with everyone. He was a member of the University Church of Christ, Autumn Trails Model A?s Club, and AA Home Group of Canyon. He was preceded in death by one stepson, Craig Davis, his first wife, Jo Dell Davis Wruble, his parents, a nephew, Kane O'Loughlin, and a niece, Loryn O'Loughlin. Survivors include his wife, Evon Wruble; his daughter, Cassandra Wruble McColl and husband, Arch; stepdaughter, Lori Davis O'Loughlin and husband, Rick; stepson, David Davis and wife, Debbie; a sister, Millie Crow and husband, Mike; and nieces and nephews, Cara and Thayne Harrison, Keenan Davis, Spencer Davis, Christopher Davis, Casey Davis, and LaVonda Crow. The family suggests memorials be to AA of Canyon, or Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter St., Amarillo, TX 79119.
