Roy Cook

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Dreamland Cemetery with Rev. Donna Johnston, Pastoral Care Minister, officiating. Roy M. Cook was born on January 19, 1926 in Childress. He married Dorothy Graves in Canyon and they enjoyed living on their farm north of Canyon. He was a truck driver and a member of Local 577. He enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. Roy was preceded in death by a son Ricky Cook. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Cook; two grandchildren, Cassie Cook and Kelly Cook; and a niece, Jessica Price. The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.
