Rosie Vetter, 78, of Amarillo, formerly of Canyon, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Private Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Dreamland Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Rosie was born on August 29, 1941 in Childress to George and Velma Wesley Eudey. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1959 and married John 'Jack' Vetter on February 4, 1960 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2015. They moved to Canyon from El Paso in 1992 and became members of the First Baptist Church of Canyon where Rosie was very involved in the funeral meal and quilting ministries. Five years ago, she moved to Park Place Towers in Amarillo and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Amarillo.
Rosie was known for her welcoming spirit and had a gift for remembering names. While at Park Place, she enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles.

Rosie is also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, C.D. and Jerry Eudey, a grandson, Paul Michael White, and a son-in-law, Duke Aldridge. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon White and husband, Gary of Amarillo, Susan Aldridge of Denver, CO, and Sandra Nolan and husband, Bill of Canyon; four grandchildren, Chase Aldridge of Golden, CO, Courtney Aldridge of New York, NY, Ashley Nolan Reeves and husband, Zach of Canyon, and Whitney Nolan of Canyon; her sister, Colleen Ticer and husband, Jerry of Amarillo; and two sisters-in-law, Neva Eudey of Beaver, OK and Gladys Eudey of Sorrento, LA.

The family suggests memorials be to Carenet Pregnancy Center, PO Box 50342, Amarillo, TX 79159 or First Baptist Church Quilting Ministry, 1717 4th Avenue, Canyon, TX 79015.
