Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Silverton with Brian West, pastor of First Baptist Church of Sunnyside and Duane Reynolds, officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Silverton Cemetery, Silverton, Texas. Ronald Eugene Nease was born on December 1, 1946 in Blair, Oklahoma. Born to Carlton and Irene Edwards Nease, he was raised in the Wichita Mountains Wild Life Refuge. He graduated from Cache High School in Cache, Oklahoma in 1965. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sargent , stationed at the Amarillo Air Force Base for two years and in Denver, Colorado for two years. He married Pam Curtis in Amarillo on January 20, 1968. He was a self employed electrician and was the electrical manager for WTAMU. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Lawton, Oklahoma. Ronald loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving husband, daddy, and loved being PawPaw to his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Stanley Nease. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Pam Nease, of Canyon; one son, Brandon Nease and wife, Cheri, of Canyon; one daughter, Christy West and husband, Brian, of Tulia; four granddaughters, Brianna Davis and husband, Brad, of Tulia, Emily West, of Tulia, Addison West, of Tulia, and Layni Nease, of Canyon; two grandsons, Ryder Nease, of Tyler, and Zach Ingles, of Canyon; and two great granddaughters, Brinley and Kaylee Davis, of Tulia.
