Roberto Reyes

Roberto Rivera Reyes, 76, of Happy passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Happy's Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Happy Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Happy's Memorial Chapel.

Roberto was born on November 10, 1943 in Eagle Pass, TX to Nate and Guadalupe Rivera Reyes. He married Lucy Flores in Shallowater in 1965.

Roberto was a farmhand, and he enjoyed collecting hot wheels cars. He loved spending time at cookouts with his family and always enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Nate Reyes Sr. of El Indio; Sister, Maria Gonzales of Wayside; and brothers, Antonio Reyes of El Indio and Carlos Reyes of San Antonio.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lucy, of Happy; children, Linda Sanchez and husband Andres of Midland, Guadalupe Perchez of Hart, Ruben Reyes of Happy, Mary Helen Riojas and husband Anthony of Corpus Christi, Carlos Reyes of Tulia, Robert Reyes Jr. and wife, Nohemi of Amarillo, Jimmy Reyes and wife Jenny of Happy, Mike Reyes of Tulia, and Jesse Reyes and wife Erica of Happy. Roberto was blessed with 27 grandkids and 23 great-grandkids. He is also survived by brothers, Raul Reyes, Nate Reyes Jr. and Jose Reyes, all of El Indio.
