Robert Seago

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Southlawn Assembly of God Church in Amarillo with Rev. Jerad Middaugh, pastor, and Rev. Danny Copeland, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Brooks Funeral Directors. Robert Allen "Buddy" Seago, Jr. was born on January 23, 1951 to Robert Allen Seago, Sr. and Thelma Lucille Seago in Plainview, Texas. He grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1969. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Business from West Texas State University in Canyon. Buddy married Ramona Perry Ruff on September 1, 2001 in Plainview. He was a project manager for Deakin Electric. He was a member of the Plainview and Canyon Masonic Lodges and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Buddy enjoyed riding his motorcycle, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Seago, Sr. and a step-son, Jonathan Wayne Ruff. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Seago and daughter, Angelica Dawn Seago, who he affectionately called "Boo Boo", of the home; his stepson, Allen Ruff, of Lubbock; one step-grandson, Zaydn Ruff, of Lubbock; daughter, Sarah (Missy) Holt and husband, Jeff of Fredericksburg; son, Joshua Seago of Arizona; four grandchildren, Spencer, Matthew, Zachary, and Atticus; step-dad and mother, Glenn and Thelma Bailey, of Plainview; three brothers, Mike Seago and wife, Maggie, of Slidell, LA, Kim Seago and wife, Sandy and Jackie Seago and wife, Cindy, all of Plainview; two sisters, Darlene Curry and husband, Tommy, of Kress, and Dianne Reynolds and husband, Darrell, of Silverton; and several nieces and nephews.
