Robert Loven

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Frank Norred officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Robert Loven was born on April 16, 1932 in Childress to William and Willie Bell Loven. He married Dorothy Juanita Riley at McKinney, Texas on August 11, 1953. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked for 39 years as a welder at Continental EMSCO. He was proud of his accomplishments in the field of welding and received numerous achievement awards from the company. He was a member of Tradewinds Assembly of God Church and was always active in working for the Lord. Singing and making gospel music in homes, churches, and nursing homes was always a great joy in his life. He also loved to fish. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Juanita, of the home; one daughter, Roxie Loven, of Canyon; one son, Doyle Loven, of Blue Ridge, TX; two sisters, Coliene Brummett, of Canyon, and Jean Miller, of Richardson, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
