Robert Caddell

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Amarillo with Dr. Clay Brown officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Viewing will be at Schooler Funeral Home in Amarillo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Schooler Funeral Home. Robert 'Bob' Caddell was born on May 29, 1934 in Payne County, OK to Lewis and Noma Clifton Caddell. He married Sue Henton on October 25, 1969 in Amarillo. Bob worked for Pioneer Natural Gas and Energas for 42 years, retiring in Canyon in 1997. He was a Mason and a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of Jaycees and Lions Club in Dimmitt and Canyon. Bob loved motorcycles, horses, and building old cars. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Billy Caddell, and a son, Bobby. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sue, of the home; two daughters, Michelle Gray and husband, Jay, and Melanie Younger and husband, Shannon, all of Amarillo; five grandchildren; his sister, Twanna Powell and husband, Don, of Amarillo; and two brothers, Kenneth Caddell and wife, Betty, of Amarillo and Jim Caddell and wife, Pat, of Lubbock. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Association, 415 W. Eighth St., Suite 300, Amarillo, TX 79101.
