In Loving Memory of Robbie Caster
June 3, 1974 – October 15, 2025
We gather with heavy hearts to honor the life of Robbie Caster, born June 3, 1974, in Houston, Texas — a man whose warmth, humor, and light touched everyone who knew him. Robbie passed away suddenly on October 15, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
A proud graduate of Monterey High School, Class of 1992, Robbie attended Texas Tech University right after graduation, where his lifelong love for the Red Raiders began. A few years later, he moved to Long Beach, California, where he thrived selling Corvettes and reconnected with his high school sweetheart. Together they had two amazing boys, who became his pride and joy. He later earned an associate's degree in biology from Amarillo College. Sales were always in his blood — a field where he thrived and continued doing incredible work right up until his passing. Determination and grit fueled him; sales were truly his internal engine.
Robbie had many passions throughout his life. First and foremost, he loved the Lord, and we know he is in Heaven with his sweet baby girl, Brooklyn. He loved playing and watching tennis (a devoted Andre Agassi fan), movies, music, gaming, and making people laugh. He had a deep love for animals and cherished his pets. He also held a special place in his heart for West Texas, proudly calling it home. Robbie brought joy and laughter to every gathering, especially when playing games or sharing time with friends and family. Above all, music was his heartbeat — he loved to sing, perform, and share his joy through song and instruments.
Life wasn't always easy for Robbie, but one thing was certain — he never gave up. Through every challenge, he found strength in his faith, his love for his children, and the unwavering support of his mother, who was always by his side. His favorite saying, "Never Give Up," will live on as a legacy in the hearts of his family, friends, and especially his boys.
Robbie was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Brooklyn Nicole Caster; his father, Ronald Gene Caster; his grandparents, Gladys Martin, Archie Grady Martin, Anna Rae Caster, and Richard W. Caster; and his beloved dog, Maggie, who passed in 2017 and always held the biggest part of his heart.
He is survived by his three children: Rayden Caster and Ramsey Caster of Canyon, Texas, and Alexi Nelson of Lubbock, Texas; his loving mother, Linda Barnes, and stepfather, Neal Barnes, of Dallas, Texas; his brothers, Rodney Caster and wife Sharlene of Floresville, Texas, and Randal Caster and wife Stacy of Katy, Texas; his good friend Stephanie Caster, whom he married in 2003 and with whom he had two boys; his stepmother, Conni Caster, of Amarillo, Texas; and his stepsiblings, Greg, Holly, and Natalie Barnes, all of the Dallas area. He is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who loved him dearly.
