Richard Pruett

There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday, September 26 from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. Richard made many friends through all the years that he owned and operated the Village Inn Restaurant. He was an enthusiastic fan of all WTAMU Athletics and an avid fisherman. He was also a great Dad and Pepop. Survivors include his wife, Nedra Jarrett Pruett; a brother, A.L. Pruett and wife, Pat, of Canyon; children, Ty Pruett and wife, Kelly of Amarillo, Kip Pruett and wife, Joyce, of O'Fallon, Missouri, Kara Pruett Gibbs, of Amarillo, Johnie Fountain and wife, Crystal, of Hemphill, Trena Childs Dorsett, of San Leon, and Mark Childs and wife, Sheila, of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to WTAMU Athletics, WT Box 60049, Canyon, TX 79016 or to Integracare Hospice, 2005 S. Coulter, Amarillo, TX 79106.
