Richard Humphrey

Services will be at 10:00A.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be at St. Mary"s Cemetery in Umbarger, Texas. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Brooks Chapel. Richard Humphrey was born in Plainview, Texas January 10, 1950 to Bill and Audrey Humphrey. He married Marilyn Doran in 2006 in Amarillo, Texas. He was a veteran of the US Army serving with the 82nd Airborne. He was a truck driver for thirty five years, and owned and operated "The Ranch House Bar" in Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Humphrey. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Humphrey; his mother, Audrey Humphrey, of Muleshoe, Tx; two sons, Chas Humphrey and wife, Melodye, of San Marcos, Tx, and Chris Humphrey and wife, Connie, of Germany; step daughter, Jessica Belcher, of Amarillo, Tx; sisters Sherry Wisian, of Lubbock, Tx, and Judy Logsdon, of Muleshoe, Tx; three granchildren, Quinten, Annabelle and Haley; and four step grandchildren, Morgan, Hannah, Cyrena, and Kaleb. The family suggests memorials be sent to BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX or the American Diabetic Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
