Randy Banks, 60, of Eastland passed away on January 8, 2020 in Amarillo.  Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Rev. Gene Jones officiating. Randy was born on February 19, 1959 in Canyon to Charles and Catherine Hammer Banks.  He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.  He was a great son, brother, father, and Pops and was a memory maker.  He was passionate about family, baseball, fishing, building all things, playing Santa, and being Pops to his six wonderful grandchildren.  He loved ice cream, drawing, music, Nascar, and his Harley trips.  He loved life and it showed.  Randy left a lasting impression on all he met and welcomed one and all into his home and his life as if they were family. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.A. and Bessie Hammer and D.C. and Sarah Banks and a sister, Sandee Larkin.  Survivors include his parents, Charles and Catherine Banks; sister, Pamela Haymes and husband, Tracy; three sons, Joe Banks and wife, Elizabeth, Josh Banks and wife, Nicole, and Jacob Banks and wife, Jamie; and six grandchildren, Jordan and Jentry Banks, Berkley and Ben Banks, and Hunter and Luke Banks, along with Beau Banks to arrive in March. The family suggests memorials be to Vernon Lions Club Baseball, % Dustin Fraticelli, 1825 Canal St., Vernon, TX 76384.
