Ralph Hix

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Olsen, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1 at Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors. Ralph was born March 26, 1930 in Ringling, Oklahoma to William and Mary Smith Hix. On April 16, 1948, he married Lola Chaudoin. They were married for 67 years. He spent over 40 years working in the oil field. Ralph was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon and a lifetime member of the Pampa Masonic Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by a son, Glen Hix. Survivors include his wife, Lola Hix, of Canyon; a son, Jim Hix and wife, Judy, of Canyon; five grandchildren, Christy, Jenny, John, Adam, and Brent; and six great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174, Hudson House, 3210 Russell Long Blvd, Canyon, TX 79015, or to a favorite charity.
