Preston Prichard

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 6, 2004 at Paramount Terrace Christian Church of Amarillo with Rev. Scott Greer, pastor, officiating. Private Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Prichard was born on September 14, 1922 in Canyon to Emmett and Cleo Prichard. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1941 and married Inez Abbott in Canyon. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a carpenter and maintenance supervisor at Boy"s Ranch for 25 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Kiwanas for 15 years. He was also a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and the Journeyman Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Hollabaugh, in 1953. Survivors include his wife, Inez, of Amarillo; two sons, George Prichard, and wife, Marita, of Granbury, and Preston Prichard, and wife, Denise, of Thousand Oaks, CA; one daughter, Christi Guill, and husband, Mark, of Amarillo; one brother, Clifford Prichard, and wife, Ann, of Hinkley, Utah; four sisters, Dorothy Olson, of Canyon, Ruthie Allison, of Rockwall, TX, Sistie Conatser, of Dallas, and Nell Mainville, of Canyon; nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley"s Boys Ranch, PO Box 1890, Amarillo, Texas 79174.
