Peggy Davis

Peggy Davis, 83, of Canyon passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Enns, pastor, officiating. A private family graveside will follow. Peggy was born August 29, 1936 in Canyon to Elwood and Ruth Shero. She married Archie Dean Davis on July 2, 1953 in Canyon. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Randall County Sheriff's Posse. Peggy was a homemaker. She also worked in the Canyon High School cafeteria and was a secretary for Lawrence Ward Trucking. She was a wonderful mother and Granny. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Archie and a brother, James Ezell. Survivors include her daughter, Connie Davis Bolding and husband Wilber of Canyon; granddaughter, Nikki Dressler and husband Harold of Canyon; grandson, Kip Bolding of Canyon; and seven great grandchildren, Christian, Jordan, Maddison, Wyatt, Casey, Mason, and Brady.
