Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 30 at First Street Church of Christ with Art Lynch, minister, and Jonathan Zerby, minister of Sunray Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dumas. Viewing will be at Morrison Funeral Directors in Dumas. Pauline Lewis was born October 27, 1914 in Morriston, Arkansas to Robert and Dora Porterfield Williams. On January 26, 1935, she married Ovel Lewis near Connar Town, Missouri. Pauline had lived in the Dumas community since 1971. For seven years she was employed by Avon as a representative. She was a member of the First Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971, two sisters, and a brother. Survivors include her two daughters, Lyla G. Hamilton and husband, William, of Dumas, Lana G. Kerbow and husband, Stephen, of Uvalde; two granddaughters, Brenda Johnson and husband, Steve, of Hewitt, Paula Gross and husband, Troy, of Dumas; three grandsons, Kent Hamilton and wife, Tanya, of Chicago, Chris Hamilton and wife, Nancy, of Dumas, Paul L. Kerbow, of Abilene; a great granddaughter, Kristene Blanco and husband, Aaron; and four great grandsons, Tommy Johnson, Mitchell Hamilton, Nicholas Hamilton, John Gross, and Jeffery Gross. The family requests that memorials be made to the High Plains Children"s Home, PO Box 7448, Amarillo, TX 79114 or the Medina Children"s Home, 21300 State Highway 16 North, Medina, TX 78055.
