Patsy Strohmeyer

Patsy Louise Strohmeyer, 76, of Happy, died Sunday, February 11, 2018.  Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Happy with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor, officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Happy's Memorial Chapel.  Patsy Louise Strohmeyer was born on January 12, 1942 to Henry and Juanita German George.  She lived most of her life in Happy where she lived a simple life.  She was a wonderful homemaker, Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, and fishing.  She also loved country music and dancing, and she adored her grandchildren. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Harold Shedd, a great-granddaughter, Erica McKenna, a son, Tommy Strohmeyer, her first husband, Melburne 'Buck' Jones, a nephew, Ronnie McDuffie, and a son-in-law, Michael Johnson. Survivors include her sister, Ruby McDuffie, of Amarillo; eight children, Pam Hinkle and husband David, of Folsom, NM, Richard Jones of Amarillo, Judy Oldham and husband George Ellison, of Union City, OK, Patricia Kinslow and husband Jerry, of Happy, Shawnda Johnson of Ft. Worth, Cindy Jones-Mills and husband Scott, of Mustang, OK, Cheryl Lones and husband Don, of Mustang, OK, and Bobby Strohmeyer, of Sapulpa, OK; twenty-one grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
