Patricia Rusler

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 23 at Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas with Mike Wright, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 21 at Brooks Chapel. Patricia was born March 30, 1944 in San Angelo to J.D. and Oleta Rusler. She attended school at San Jacinto Elementary, Carlsbad, and Grape Creek before graduating from Lakeview High School where she was a member of the Chieftain Band. She attended San Angelo Junior College. Patricia worked for over 20 years for Hoyt Insurance Co. and Macdonald-Favor Insurance. She moved with her parents to Canyon in 1993 where she worked as secretary for Randall County Farm Bureau and the High Plains Water Conservation District for 17 years. Patricia was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Grape Creek Baptist Church, and Harriett Baptist Church while living in San Angelo, Grape Creek Community, and Harriett Community. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Butch and Milton Kyle Rusler; and a nephew, Hal Moreland. Patricia is survived by brother, Clifford Rusler, of San Angelo; brother, Ken Rusler and wife, Sue, of Canyon; sister, Gwen Moreland, of Canyon; seven nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
