Patricia Hargrave

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 7 at the United Methodist Church of Happy with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Happy Cemetery. Mrs. Hargrave will be available for viewing at Happy's Memorial Chapel. Patricia was born March 10, 1928 in Phoenix, AZ to Vertrice and Joyce Wheat. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1946 and then from Arizona State University in 1950 with a degree in education. Patricia married Robert Hargrave on August 27, 1950 in Phoenix, AZ. He preceded her in death in 2010. She taught school for a couple of years and then became a full time mother and homemaker. In 1967, the family moved to Happy. Patricia was a member of the Happy Woman's Study Club, Order of the Eastern Star, and the United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Mark Hargrave and wife, Karen, of Happy; a daughter, Tricia Odom and husband, Kyle, of Happy; four grandchildren, Beau Hargrave and wife, Gloria, of Amarillo, Tyler Hargrave, of Happy, Mackenzie and Craig Odom, both of Happy; a great granddaughter, Lilian Hargrave, of Amarillo; cousins, Willa Jane McManigal and husband, Jim, of Happy, Shirley Payne and husband, Tom, of Canyon, and Ruby Nicholson, of Fairborn, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
